Loan Program for Assistive Devices

Bridges has a long history of support and funding for hearing aids. Recently, our program was expanded to include assistive devices of any kind. As part of an effort in Nashville to mobilize and streamline resources for all those with hearing loss, we are working with Vanderbilt’s Bill Wilkerson Center, Tennessee State University, the Sertoma Club, and Nashville’s Chapter of Hearing Loss Association of America. Together, this consortium hopes to provide assistance, education, screenings, and hearing aids to low-income individuals at little or no cost. Watch for more information as the program hopes to provide assistance and screenings as early as fall of 2010! Until then, Bridges hearing aid loan program is on hold as we concentrate our efforts on the joint venture.
