HIV Training for the Interpreter: Increasing Knowledge & Reducing Stigma

Hearing Bridges and Comprehensive Care Center are partnering to present a FREE workshop for medical interpreters on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 from 9:00-11:00 a.m.

The purpose of this training is to increase medical interpreters’ knowledge of HIV and AIDS, treatment protocols, and terminology used by medical staff in order to assist the interpreter in his/her role during a patient’s visit with service providers.
