Lunch Chat

Starting January 20, CEO Sallie Hussey and rotating staff members will host a casual, lunch-time, chat session every other month!
Sallie noticed recently that folks had questions about the agency from “Where do we get our money?” to “Why didn’t I know about the name change?” to “How do I get a job here?” and thought inviting people in to talk would be a great idea. So, the first chat-session will be Wednesday, January 20 at 11:30 a.m. Clients, donors, friends, family members, and neighbors are all welcome to help us talk about how we can communicate better with you!
And, at this first gathering, you’ll be able to suggest a better meeting time and future topics for discussion. The agency will supply the drinks and dessert but don’t forget to pack a lunch!

Living Well Forever
Mondays from 5:30pm to 6:30pm beginning January 11, 2010
Living Well Forever classes will begin again Monday, January 11, 2010. It is a 10-week class. It is from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Tai Chi Class

Interested in taking Tai Chi? It’s the perfect exercise for improving your health, improving your balance, and increasing your energy. Classes taught by Larry Lee.
Class begins Wednesday, January 6, 2010 and meets each Wednesday for six weeks. Cost is $30. Classes are held in the Youth Center at Hearing Bridges.

Craft Class (10am-12pm)
Wednesdays 10am - 12pm
For those interested in other crafts such as crocheting, knitting, fabric painting, batik, weaving, embroidery, etc., we will be planning projects with those crafts as well. This is a fun group. If you have children and need a babysitter, please contact me at any of the numbers below. I will make arrangements for a babysitter for those persons wanting to attend. We meet in the Youth Center at Hearing Bridges.
You may join this class any Wednesday, as it is ongoing. There is not charge for the classes, but depending on the project, there may be a charge for the supplies.
