Clubs & Organizations

Many Deaf clubs use our facilities for monthly meetings and social events. These include:

We support these groups through the use of our office space for meetings and events.

Member activities have included:

• Supporting families in need during the holiday season
• Coordinating a program to support U.S. soldiers serving in Iraq
• Offering the "Signing at Sea" Caribbean cruise

Mockingbird Community and Retirement Center, Inc.

For more than three decades, the Deaf community has dreamed about having a retirement center in Tennessee designed to meet its needs. Hearing Bridges is an active supporter of the proposed Mockingbird Community and Retirement Center (MCRC). The project, still on the drawing board, is expected to build and operate a retirement and assisted living facility specifically designed for the needs of Deaf, Deaf-Blind, and Hard of Hearing seniors. The Community Center will be a facility for meetings and recreational activities for area Deaf and Hard of Hearing groups. For more information, visit MockingbirdRetirementCommunity.org.
