Thanksgiving…

Last week was a week of change. We changed our name and along with it, much more. Many small things changed like letterhead, nametags, envelopes, and email addresses. The more important things stayed the same. Our annual Youth Center spaghetti supper was Friday night and it was fantastic! I was watching our teenagers serve noodles and sauce, and I greeted a couple who said, “We wouldn’t miss this for anything! We’ve been every year!” I’m so thankful that even though things change in this agency and will continue to do so, some things stay the same.
We may change the color of our logo or the location of our agency (new convention center?) or add new programs and change staff over the years. But, we will continue to be a place for Deaf, hard of hearing, and hearing individuals who need us in any way. That will never change.
