As the year ends…

It’s hard to believe we have four weeks left in 2009!  This year has not only been challenging for us with a merger and name change, but also challenging economically.  Recently I heard someone say that in Nashville more restaurants have closed this year than nonprofit organizations.  Thanks to all of you who continue to support us and have helped us keep our doors open.

Next year may still be difficult for nonprofits.  Like this year, funders will challenge us to focus on our mission.  Smart organizations focus on the mission every year, not just when money is tight.  In 2010 we are making a special effort to make certain our programs and services are mission driven.  Watch for more information and as always, we welcome your input. 

On behalf of the board, staff, and all those associated with Hearing Bridges, thanks to you, our donors, for your help this year.
